| While the Academy's core academic, military, and physical development programs receive federal support, many projects and activities that are of great value but outside the "core" designation receive minimal to zero funding from the government. The Superintendent has prioritized the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, which falls in the latter category, as an Academy need and as means of providing a distinct and vital contribution to our nation. To create this capacity requires private support, and thus the CHGS is part of West Point’s current “For Us All” capital campaign. We hope you will support this worthy endeavor.
