Geographical Distribution The Class of 2008, numbering 1,224 new cadets, includes 1,207 United States citizens and 17 international cadets. Cadets were appointed by Congress from every state in the United States, as well as others appointed from military service sources. The international cadets are from
the countries of Albania, Cameroon, Columbia, El Salvador, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Tunisia. These cadets will return to their country as officers in their armed forces. |
