Geographical Distribution The Class of 2009, numbering 1,251 new cadets, includes 1,230 United States citizens and 21 international cadets. Cadets were appointed by Congress from every state in the United States, as well as others appointed from military service sources. The international cadets are from the countries of Afghanistan, Belize (2), Brunei, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Chad, Guyana, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan (2), Korea, Lithuania (2), Singapore, Sri Lanka (2), Taiwan, Thailand and Tunisia. These cadets will return to their country as officers in their armed forces. |
