ACBF's mission is to build human and institutional capacity for sustainable growth and poverty reduction in Africa.  It strives to fulfill this mission by projects and programs that focus to improve the functioning across key competency areas relating to Nation Building and Capacity Development.  Additionally, the foundation provides leadership in this field to other organizations looking to participate in nation development in Africa.  Finally, the ACBF's website has various informational and learning resources related to nation development.
