United States Military Academy Partnership

The National Science Center and the United States Military Academy, in a unique partnership, promote science and mathematics education for all ages nationawide, motivate young Americans to seek careers in tehcnology and engineering and operate national education outreach programs.

The NSC Mobile Discovery Center takes science on the road. Housed in 18-wheelers, the mobile

centers travel across the country, presenting porgrams designed to show young people that studying

science and math is fun as well as essential to their future. The complete 50 minute program presented during van visits consists of hands-on, interactive science demonstrations. Up to six sessions can be scheduled for each school day. The MDC is currently offered as a FREE Outreach Program provided by the National Science Center and the U.S. Army. MDC is also a featured at West Point during our West Point STEM Workshop.
