​     SFC Naseef was born in Bellevue, NJ and graduated from OSUT Field Artillery Basic Training in Fort Sill, OK in 2002 at the age of 18.  His first assignment and deployment in support of OIF (2005-2006) was with the 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery, as a cannon crew member, gunner, and section chief at Fort Lewis, WA. His second assignment was overseas with the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment at Vilseck, Germany, where he held the positions of a section chief, gunnery sergeant, and platoon sergeant. He deployed again in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2007-2008) as an Air Assault Squad Leader attached to 1st Cavalry Regiment supported and trained by AWG to be the TACRES for the Brigade AO. Following the deployment, he was assigned as a Processing NCO for incoming recruits at Fort Sill, OK. After attending Battle Staff Course he assumed the role of 95th Battalion Operations NCOIC. His next assignment was in 17th FIRES BDE, 1-377 Field Artillery as a M777 Howitzer Platoon Sergeant at Fort Lewis, WA. There he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he served as a Platoon Sergeant and the Battle Captain at FOB Salerno(2011-2012).  He currently serves as an MS100 Instructor for the Military Science Division of DMI.
