​     SFC Eddie Jackson was born in Albany, GA and graduated from Basic Training in 1998.  His first assignment was an Armored Combat Earthmover (ACE) operator in A CO, 9th BN, Schweinfurt, Germany where he deployed to Kosovo in 1999.  Following deployment, he was reassigned to Fort Benning, Georgia as an ACE to A CO, 317th BN, 3rd ID BDE, and deployed to Iraq on three separate occasions (2003, 2005-2006, and 2007-2008). At Fort Benning, SFC Jackson served as a Team Leader, Section Leader, and Platoon Sergeant. After his last deployment to Iraq, SFC Jackson was assigned to 630th, 7th Engineer BN, 10th Sustainment BDE, Ft Drum, NY, where he served as the Operations NCOIC and later deployed with the company to Afghanistan (2011-2012). While deployed he served as an Operations Sergeant for a Route Clearance Company. Upon redeployment he assumed duties as a platoon sergeant for one of the route clearance platoons (RCP). SFC Jackson was later transferred to HHC, 7th Engineer BN, 10th Sustainment BDE, Ft Drum, NY where he served as the Brigade Engineer NCOIC in the brigade engineer cell. He currently serves as a MS100 Instructor for the Military Science Division.
