​       Captain Camille J. Acred was born in San Angelo, Texas and enlisted in 1999 into the Military Police (MP) Corps. She completed Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a Military Police Officer in 2008. CPT Acred’s assignments include 552nd MP CO, Pusan, Korea; 170th MP CO, Fort Lewis, WA; Brigade S2 NCO, 1st MP BDE, Fort Lewis, WA; Drill Sergeant, A CO, 1-61 IN BN and Drill Sergeant Leader, United States Army Drill Sergeant School, Fort Jackson, SC; Platoon Leader and Operations Officer in the 526th MP CO (I/R). In January 2011, she deployed in support of Operation New Dawn with the 40th MP BN (I/R) as the Assistant Operations Officer. She thn served as the Senior Military Police Observer-Coach/Trainer (O/C-T) and MP Team Chief for the 158th IN BDE, Camp Shelby, MS and most recently as Commander of the 165th MP Detention CO. CPT Acred currently serves as an MS200 Instructor within DMI.
