Mr. Drew Van Dam is an Instructor within the Department of Physical Education at the United States Military Academy. He graduated from the Springfield College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and also holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University.
Mr. Van Dam has most of his experience working in professional baseball where he spent 10 years at various positions as a certified athletic trainer. In addition to his athletic training background he has worked as a certified strength and conditioning specialist with various regional high schools and colleges.
Mr. Van Dam also participates in the Master Teacher Program, as well as working on the Admissions Committee, Closed Head Injury Committee, and the DPE Curriculum Committee. In addition to his teaching duties and commitments, Mr. Van Dam will be speaking at the 2012 Saint Elizabeth Sports Medicine Symposium on the topic of Building and Rebuilding the Warrior Athlete and also volunteers as a mentor to the ARMY Football team as well as coaches youth soccer and baseball.
Teaching: Combat Applications, Fundamentals of Fitness, Strength Development, Skiing, Bicycling, and SCUBA.
