Biography

Mrs. Peck earned her Bachelor of Science (1996) degree in Physical Education from Hunter College of the City University of New York and her Master of Education (1999) degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia.  Mrs. Peck first came to USMA as a student athletic trainer in the Spring of 1997, completing an internship in the Department of Physical Education.  She joined the full time faculty at USMA after finishing graduate school in August of 1999.  Her research interest, sports concussions, was the subject of a graduate thesis entitled "Effect of Pain on Standardized Assessment of Concussion and Trail Making Test Scores."  She continues to be involved in sports medicine studies along with other researchers from USMA, USACHPPM, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and the University of Virginia.  During her free time, Mrs. Peck enjoys participating in many sports including tennis, hockey, racquetball, softball, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and soccer.
