MAJ Heyman is an Armor/Telecom Systems Engineer (FA24) Officer. His previous assignments include Tank Platoon Leader, L Troop 3/3 Armored Cavalry Regiment (ACR); Scount Platoon Leader, I Troop 3/3 ACR; Troop Executive Officer, I Troop 3/3 ACR; and Information Systems Engineer, U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command. He is a graduate of the Air Assault School, Armor Officer Basic Course, Telecom Systems Engineer Course, and the Signal Captain's Career Course. MAJ Heyman has deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003-2004 and 2005-2006). His academic interests include communication networks, biometric identification systems, and robotics.
