MAJ Stanton’s military assignments include Rifle Platoon Leader, 1-508 ABCT, Vicenza, Italy; Bradley Platoon Leader, Headquarters Company Executive Officer, and Assistant Operations Officer, 1-26 IN, Schweinfurt, Germany; and Assistant Operations Officer and Company Commander, 1-502 IN (AASLT), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. MAJ Stanton has deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Kosovo and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a graduate of the Combined Arms Service Staff School, the Infantry Captains’ Career Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), the Infantry Officers’ Basic Course, Ranger School, Airborne School, and Air Assault School. MAJ Stanton’s academic interests are in the fields of data storage and security.
