​LTC Dan Bennett is a Signal Officer (FA 24) returning to EECS in 2012. His previous assignments include: Platoon Leader, Company XO, and Assistant & Rear Detachment Battalion S3, 11th Signal Brigade; 18th Military Police Brigade Signal Officer (including Bosnia, Kosovo) and Company Commander in 22nd Signal Brigade, V Corps; Assistant Professor USMA; 101st Airborne Division and CJTF-101 (Afghanistan) Network Engineering Officer in Charge. LTC Bennett is a graduate of schools that include the following: Army Command and General Staff College, COMSEC Custodian Course, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, Signal Officer Advanced/Basic Courses, Network Nodal Manager's Course, and Airborne School. His awards include the Bronze Star. His academic interests include Wireless Communications, Networking, and Convex Optimization.
