MAJ Benjamin Quimby is a Signal / Telecommunications Systems Engineer (FA24) officer who received his commission in 2003 from the United States Military Academy. He served as a platoon leader and executive officer in A Company, 50th Signal Battalion (Corps)(Forced Entry)(Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC, including a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III (2004-2005). He also served as assistant S-3 for 50th Signal Battalion (Corps)(Forced Entry)(Airborne), and circuit/data engineer for 35th Signal Brigade (Corps)(Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC. His most recent assignment was as the engineering plans officer at the CONUS Theater Network Operations and Security Center (C-TNOSC). MAJ Quimby is a graduate of the Signal Officer Basic Course, Signal Captain's Career Course, Telecommunication Systems Engineering (FA24) Course, Air Assault School, and Airborne School. His academic interests include Natural Language Processing/Understanding, Network and Computer Security, and Security User Education.
