LTC Maymí was commissioned as a Signal Officer from the United States Military Academy in 1989. His military assignments include Platoon Leader and S-2 with the 307th Signal Battalion at Camp Carroll, Korea, Signal Officer with the 2-14th Infantry, 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, Company Commander with the Information Systems Engineering Command at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Satellite Networks Engineer with the Defense Information Systems Agency at Patch Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany, and Chief of the Logistics Automation Section for the U.S. Forces – Iraq J-4. He has been deployed to Somalia and Iraq. LTC Maymí’s research interests include cyber security and mobile devices.
