LTC Kilby was commissioned in the Field Artillery and later tracked into the Army Acquisition Corps. Assignments include fire support officer, and battery/battalion fire direction officer, 5-29 FA Battalion; brigade fire direction officer and target acquisition battery commander of A/25 FA, 41st Field Artillery Brigade, electronic systems research and development officer with the Science and Technology Center in Wiesbaden, Germany. A graduate of the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, and the Command and General Staff College. Academic interests include photonics and optoelectronics.
