LTC Tanya Markow is an Aviation officer, serving primarily as an AH-64A Apache pilot and Instructor Pilot. Her military assignments include Gun Platoon Leader, A Troop, 1/6 Cavalary, Camp Eagle, Korea; Intelligence Officer, 3/229th Aviation Regiment, Fort Bragg, NC; Personnel Officer, 1/210th Aviation Regiment, Fort Rucker, AL; Company Commander, HHC, 1/14th Aviation Regiment, Fort Rucker, AL; Assistant Professor, Computer Science, USMA, West Point, NY; Operations Officer, 164th Theater Airfield Operations Group and Air Traffic Services Command, Fort Rucker, AL. LTC Markow is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, AH-64A Instructor Pilot Course, Aviation Captain's Career Course, AH-64A Aircraft Qualification Course, Initial Entry Rotary Wing, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Air Assault school and Airborne school. She deployed in support of Operation Joint Endeavor (SFOR IV) and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her academic interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Assistive Technologies and Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation
