COL Ressler is an Engineer officer who assumed duties as Department Head in 2007 after 7 years as Deputy Head. He has served in combat heavy engineer units and facility engineer organizations. His military assignments include platoon leader, construction officer (XO), S-2/ assistant S-3, and company commander in Germany and construction project management duties in Seoul Korea. COL Ressler is a graduate of CGSC and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. His academic interests include neural networks, simulation, computer languages, and compiler technology.
