COL Robert W. Sadowski

COL Sadowski is a Signal Corps officer who later tracked into the Information Systems Engineer career field. He is a USMA Academy Professor. Military assignments include Battalion S3 for the 54th Signal Battalion, field grade company commander for the 385th Signal Company; Signal Officer for the 3d Bn, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and platoon leader in the 82d Signal Battalion, 82d Abn Division. He was deployed in Southwest Asia during Operations Southern Watch, Desert Thunder and Desert Fox. He is a Fannie and John Hertz Fellow. He is the Photonics Research Center director. Research interests include opto-electronic information processing, switching, analog circuit design and smart pixel technology.
