West Point Garrison will continue to accomplish its critical missions during this government-wide shutdown with minimal closures, but many will be at a reduced level or slower pace. Our primary focus will remain supporting the education of our Cadets, in addition to ensuring health, life and safety of the entire West Point community. Our security and fire department forces will be fully manned to... ensure this is accomplished. During this shutdown there will be several offices that will be shutdown or operating at only minimal capacity. ID Card operations will still be ongoing, but on an appointment basis only. Balfour Beatty will remain 100% operational and will inprocess anyone requiring post housing.
