Captain Liliane Delva originates from Miami, FL and began her Army career as an enlisted Soldier within the Medical Service Corps, serving as a Preventive Medicine Specialist in Fort Drum, NY.  Upon completion of the United States Military Academy (USMA) Preparatory School at Fort Monmouth, NJ, she entered USMA in 2004 and graduated in 2008.  She commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Adjutant General (AG) Corps and served in various roles while assigned to the 3rd Sustainment Brigade in Fort Stewart, GA.  She deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation New Dawn from April 2011-2012.  Following her deployment, she served in various assignments in Korea, notably as the Deputy Speechwriter for the United Nations/ Combined Forces Command/ United States Forces Korea Commanding General at Yongsan Garrison, Korea. Recently, CPT Delva graduated from Duke University, obtaining an MA in Latin American history.  Currently, she teaches international history at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.
