The Academy's Information Connection to Cadets and Faculty

The Network Services Support Branch provides top level support for the computing infrastructure of the United States Military Academy staff, and for the Corp of Cadets.

We host a variety of servers to support the following functions for the Academic Mission at USMA:

  • Web servers, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) service, file and print sharing
  • Domain Name Servers (DNS)
  • Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Anti-Viral Solutions
  • Active Directory services
  • Blackboard
Our Impact upon the Military Academy

Our services provide the platform required for Academic exchange of communications and ease of computing

  • Planned and executed the Military Academy's migration to Active Directory services
  • Provide support for HHQ level web sites like Platoonleader.org, Company Command and America's Army® Gaming
