The 5th Annual McDonald Conference for Leaders of Character will be held from 30 March-2 April 2017 on the grounds of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

This year our theme is: Opposition and Innovation: Taking Risks to Lead Change
- Panel Subgroups will include: Expression, Structures, and Freedoms/Ethics
- Guiding Question: In what ways can an emerging leader use influence and values-based opposition, but still create an inclusive environment for those who disagree with transformation, in order to ensure innovation, growth, and positive change occurs when up against the status quo?
Mission- For top undergraduate student leaders from diverse backgrounds to participate in a team-based, experiential and analytical exercise that bolsters leadership skills, fosters critical thinking and collaboration, and develops potential strategies for addressing pressing global issues.
About- The McDonald Cadet Leadership Conference invites renowned speakers and analytical, visionary student-leaders from the international community and across the United States. The conference will unite emerging global leaders with preeminent world leaders in a partnership struggling with the most pressing issues worldwide.

Participants- Participation is by invitation only. An application for school/program adminstrators to apply for an invitation to this year's conference will be available in late August 2016.
