Minerva Fellow, Dr. Makame Muhajir and Minerva Researcher, Kristine Ringler will travel to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar to conduct interviews for the Ethnocultural and Political Interactive Research on the MRI East Africa project. They will meet with government officials, politicians, business owners, informal traders, and local residents within various neighborhoods and enclaves of the city. This trip will also serve to build relationships with key partners for future follow-on field research.
