AUTO ACCIDENT ON 9W TAKES LIFE OF WEST POINT EMPLOYEE – April 3, 2012

WEST POINT, N.Y. – A West Point employee was involved in a two-car accident that occurred at approximately 7:20 a.m. on Route 9W south. Galyna O’Connell, 50, of Monroe was transported to Keller Army Community Hospital where she passed away. The condition of the second driver is unknown and the details of the incident are under investigation.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the O’Connell family during this difficult time,” said Theresa Brinkerhoff, academy spokesperson.
