CDT Chandler Williams
is currently a USMA class of 2013 student. Prior to West Point, he served in the United States Infantry. After entering the United States Military Academy, CDT Williams was published in math his first year in 2009. Recently his research has shifted more into chemistry and the study of heterotopic ossification.Over the summer of 2011, mixed in with field training events, he attended Carnegie Mellon Labs in order to participate in research into a polymer approach to introducing siRNA into the site of heterotopic ossification, and breaks apart the mRNA post-transcription prior to any growth. After returning to West Point his research has continued in the field, but with an aim toward nano polymer degradation in vitro.
