CDT William Wright
is a native of Sandwich, Massachusetts, and a member of the Class of 2013. A double major in French and International Relations, he has spent a semester at Saint-Cyr, France’s military academy, as well as time at the Joint Staff in the Pentagon and in Djibouti with a French Marine battery for CTLT. His academic interests concern primarily a US role in the Horn of Africa. CDT Wright has been on the racquetball team since he arrived at West Point, and he is currently one of three Cadets in Charge of West Point’s Relay for Life. He recently won first place in Foreign Affairs’ Annual Student Essay Contest. He became involved in SCARE through his IT instructor, MAJ Shakarian.
