 Karen Bliss
earned a B.S. at Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1998 and a M.S. in 2000 at North Carolina State University. She then served active duty in the United States Navy for the next seven years, four years teaching at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command and three years teaching at the United States Naval Academy. She then returned to North Carolina State and earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2011. She is a Davies Fellow and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at USMA.
