COL Leon Robert, Ph.D.
serves as Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Chemistry and Life Science at West Point. He received a B.A. in Biology and a Masters in Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam, a M.S. in Biology from Old Dominion University, a Masters in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, and a Ph.D. in Entomology from Texas A&M University. Previously, COL Robert was the Commander of the U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine, an Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, the Chief of the Department of Environmental Sciences at USACHPPM (Europe), a certified Entomologist with the 30th Medical Brigade in Germany, and Chief of the Leishmaniasis Section of the U.S. Army Medical Research Unit in Korea. COL Robert’s current research involves understanding Complex Biological Networks at the Network Science Center at West Point.
