Network Science Center : devon callahan

MAJ Devon M. Callahan 
originally of Olean, New York enlisted in the Army in 1997 as a 31F. MAJ Callahan served five years in the 10th Signal BN, 10th Mountain Div (li) and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant prior to commissioning in 2002 through OCS at Fort Benning. He is a graduate of the Primary Leader Development Course, Air Assault School, Airborne School, Officer Candidate School, Signal Officers Basic Course, Signal Captains Career Course and the BDE/BN S6 Course. CPT Callahan’s previous assignments include: Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer for Charlie Company 327th Signal Battalion (Airborne), Ft Bragg; CJ6 Battle Captain for Combined Joint Task Force-76;Company Commander B Co. 10th SBTB, 10th Mountain Div (li). Deployments include: Operation Enduring Freedom IV (2003) and Operation Enduring Freedom VII(2005-2006). His academic interests include wired and wireless networks, network security and information assurance.
