Parachute Team : 2012-WPPT Winter Training

WPPT Winter Training
From 22 December 2012 – 03 January 2013, 12 cadets and three coaches participated in Winter Training and Collegiate Nationals in Eloy, AZ. The team competed in Classic and Sport Accuracy against Air Force and other colleges, winning a total of 13 medals and setting 3 National and Arizona State Records. The class of 2013 won 1st place in Team Classic Accuracy, setting a new national record for lowest overall team score, and also took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in Individual Classic Accuracy. The WPPT completed over 680 jumps, without an injury or malfunction, while professionally representing the West Point Military Academy. All four members of the class of 2015 completed their B-License requirements thanks to joint training with the USAFA Parachute Team. Cadets trained for a half day on Christmas Day before gathering for a team dinner generously provided by the Beckler Family.
