Mission

The United States Corps of Cadets Pipes & Drums provides world class musical support to the United States Corps of Cadets and the United States Military Academy in order to motivate, support, and inspire the Corps of Cadets, to instill in our forces the will to fight and win, to foster the support of our citizens, and to promote our national interests at home and abroad.  In order to foster musical excellence, the band will compete and win in competition.

On order, the United States Corps of Cadets Pipes & Drums will provide instruction in bagpiping, drumming, and Celtic dance to Cadets of all ability groups in order to personally and professionally develop them beyond their current ability.  

General Overview

The United States Corps of Cadets Pipes & Drums is a bagpipe, drum, and dance ensemble consisting of members of the United States Corps of Cadets of the United States Military Academy. The band supports Corps of Cadet activities year round, as training and academic schedules permit. In addition to is central mission to support the Corps of Cadets, the United States Military Academy, and the United States Army; the band also competes as a member of the Eastern U.S. Bagpipe Association (EUSPBA) as a Grade V Band. Band membership is open to all Cadets of the United States Military Academy, no prior skill in piping, drumming, or dance is required. The band is the only active duty Pipes & Drums band in the United States Army.
