Military Police Investigations

The Military Police Investigations (MPI) Office is responsible for the investigation of all minor crimes committed on the installation, specializing in juvenile offenses. The Military Police Investigations Office also assists the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) in investigating felonies committed by Soldiers, Cadets, and Civilians. The MPI section works closely with other Federal Agencies such as the FBI and the State Department.

The MPI Office also takes fingerprints Wednesdays from 1300-1400.

Other investigations include:

• The investigation of juvenile offenders on the installation.
• Assisting Tactical Officers and NCO's of the Corps of Cadets.
• Investigations that violate the US Military Academy rules and regulations.
• Coordinate and assist local law enforcement agencies in the investigation of incidents involving Soldiers and Cadets which occurred off Post.
• The Investigations Office is further responsible for the receipt and maintenance of all evidence obtained by the Military Police at crime scenes.
