Military Police Bicycle Patrols

The West Point Military Police Bicycle Patrol was established in 1995. The Bicycle Patrol is on seasonal duty from 1 May to 1 October.

Bicycle Patrols maintain thorough coverage of their assigned areas, and respond to radio calls within those areas. The Bicycle Patrol attracts the interest of many citizens from both tourists and the West Point Community. The Provost Marshal encourages officers to take the time to promote a relationship with these groups.

Military Police selected to the Bicycle Patrol are trained at a specialized school that educates officers and puts them through various obstacles and environmental conditions, giving them the experience and expertise to perform in any situation while on patrol.
