The Physical Security Branch of the Provost Marshals Office supports
the USMA / West Point community by
providing the following services:
PHYSICAL SECURITY
By providing announced and unannounced inspections IAW USMA
Regulation 190-13, Physical Security/Crime Prevention, we can assure
that high standards are being maintained for securing and maintaining
the well being of Army materials and other property at West Point entrusted to the Army's stewardship.

CRIME PREVENTION
We provide crime prevention information and education programs to the West Point community using programs such as:
- We coordinate McGruff the Crime
Dog™ appearances at schools and other important
events.
- We actively support Operation Identification through coordinating
the use of electronic engravers for marking and identifying property..
FOUND PROPERTY
Process and maintain all found property turned over to the Military
Police. Property is held for a period of no less than forty-five days
from date of receipt after which it is processed for turn-in to the
Installation Property Disposal Office.
WORK ORDER PROCESSING
All security-related work orders are routed and processed through this
office.
