Dr. Bitteker is currently a visiting assistant professor in the Advanced Physics Program with the Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering. He has been a scientist and manager at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico since 1992. Starting in 1999, Dr. Bitteker spent three years at NASA - Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL, doing research in advanced space power and propulsion concepts.
