Primary Care Manager by Name In the past, a patient was able to book an appointment with the primary care provider of his or her choice within the patients assigned clinic. Now, when a patient calls to make a primary care appointment at Keller, the name of the primary care manager that is assigned to the patient will appear on the computer. All appointments must be made with the assigned PCM. The only exception is if the PCM is unavailable, the patient may see someone else. But all follow-up care and future appointments would return to the patients PCM. Letters have been mailed to all TRICARE Prime Enrollees telling them their assigned PCMs. Because this change may cause initial confusion, two temporary hotlines have been up to answer questions and correct errors that may have occurred during the system change-over. Those numbers are 845-938-7907 and 845-938-7831. They are available Monday through Friday from 8a.m. to 4 p.m. until March 2. |
