Freshman Katie Macfarlane scored 17 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for her sixth career double-double and senior Therese Kelley added 17 points and nine rebounds to spark Army’s 77-61 Patriot League women’s basketball victory over Lehigh Saturday at Christl Arena here.

The Black Knights, recording their third straight win and second in league play to improve to 16-7 overall and 3-5, shot 60.7 percent (17-28) in the second half outpointing Lehigh 43-29.

The Mountain Hawks (11-12 and 4-5), ranked third in the league, were held to just 31 percent shooting in the second half (9-29) and 34.9 percent (22-63) for the game.

Army, holding a slim 34-32 lead at the halftime break, upped its advantage to 43-33 two minutes into the second half behind Kelley who scored five points (a three-pointer and layup) along with assisting on another.

At the midway point, the Black Knights led 55-44 following a fast-break layup by senior Megan Dempsey. After Lehigh drew to seven points (56-49) at the eight-minute mark,
