- Air Force leads the overall series 22-12-1. The Falcons are 14-2 at Air Force, 7-9 at Army and 1-1-1 at neutral site games. The Falcons have won four straight and 11 of the last 12 games.
- The last time Army beat Air Force was at Michie Stadium Nov. 9, 1996 when the Black Knights won 23-7 en route to winning the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy.
- Air Force has been dominant during its current four-game winning streak, out-scoring Army 128-34.
- The Falcons have posted seven consecutive winning seasons. Air Force’s last losing season was in 1993 when the team went 4-8. During the last seven years, Air Force has averaged 8.4 wins pre season. The team is 63-20 overall in that time.
- Air Force is one of the premier kick-blocking teams in college football. They have blocked four kicks this season; including two field goals, a punt and an extra point. The Falcons have blocked 72 kicks since 1990. They rank second nationally behind Virginia Tech, which has 73.

- Senior QB Keith Boyea waited in line for two years to become Air Force’s starting QB. After missing the entire 1999 season due to an academy suspension, Boyea was the backup to Mike Thiessen last year.
- Boyea leads the team and ranks fifth in the MWC in rushing with an average of 97.9 yards per game and 10 touchdowns.
