'Digging' the bicentennial

Pat Kane, (far left) USMA Bicentennial Office director and Superintendent
Lt. Gen. William J. Lennox Jr. lead a contingent of diggers in planting
the symbolic Bicentennial tree. Two hundred trees were planted this year
in honor of the academy’s founding. Local boy scouts, N.Y. State Senator
William Larkin (left) and DEC’s William Rudge (center) also
participated.
