Women's lax edges Navy, 15-14

The Army women’s lacrosse team beat the top ranked team in the country Saturday when they held off a Navy comeback to secure a 15-14 win at Daly Field.
The Mids took an 8-6 advantage into halftime, but Army erased the deficit as the teams battled back and forth until the Black Knights took the lead for good at 12-11.
Army managed to widen that margin to 15-12 before holding on while the Mids rally fell short.
Army junior goalkeeper Jennifer Neely made 15 saves on the afternoon managing several keys saves to hold off the Navy attack.
