SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR PATRIOT'S WEEKEND

OCT. 5

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. -- Brigade of the American Revolution camps at Buffalo Soldier Field are open to the public. Highland Falls Fall Foliage Festival is also during those hours.

Access for the public is through Thayer Gate and Stony Lonesome Gate, with primary parking at Buffalo Soldier Field and F Lot behind the Holleder Center.

10 a.m. -- Troop formation, divisional drills and musket firing demonstrations (Buffalo Soldier Field).

11 a.m. -- Cavalry demonstration (Buffalo Soldier Field).

Noon -- Brigade of the American Revolution parades from Buffalo Soldier Field through Fall Foliage Festival in Highland Falls to West Point Museum.

1 p.m. -- Naval battle and artillery firing at south dock. (Shuttle buses will be in operation from Buffalo Soldier Field to South Dock from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., handicap parking at South Dock.) One ship, the Providence, will be moored at South Dock. Boarding is possible from 9 a.m. to noon and after the battle until about 5 p.m. The other ship involved in the battle, the Bounty, will be moored at Bear Mountain.

2 p.m. -- Musket firing at Buffalo Soldier Field. (*At press time, the Old Guard is scheduled to perform.)

Entrance for the evening festivities is through Washington Gate, with primary parking at Target Field, no shuttle buses.

5 p.m. -- Brigade of the American Revolution will parade from Buffalo Soldier Field through central area to Daly Field.

5:45 p.m. -- West Point will perform retreat with five buglers, immediately following a Feu de Joie (Celebration of Fire) will take place, this is essentially a firing of muskets by the Brigade of the American Revolution by company.

6 p.m. -- West Point Hellcats (bugles and drums) will perform a tattoo followed by the Brigade of the American Revolution members who will perform a tattoo (fifes and drums), followed by the Old Guard performing a tattoo (bugles and drums). Program is expected to last approximately an hour.

6:30 p.m. -- Fireworks at sunset.

All events will take place at Bear Mountain and Fort Montgomery.
