Army golf takes 6th at Dartmouth Invitational

Sophomore Scott Manley handed in a final round par-70 as the Army golf team improved two places to finish sixth at the Dartmouth Invitational, Sunday, at the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, N.H.

The Black Knights improved 13 strokes, handing in the second-best team score for the final round, to finish with 289 strokes. The Black Knights finished with a 36-hole 591 strokes.

Manley carded the best round of all Army golfers, shooting a par-70 in the final 18-holes. Combined with his first-day 74, Manley finished tied for seventh place with 144 strokes. Freshman Austin Luher handed in a matching 36-hole 144 and also tied for seventh place. Luher shot a 73 in the first round and a one-over-par 71 in the final outing. Classmate D.J. Reeves shot a 74 in the first round and a 73 in the final round. He finished tied for 18th place with 147 strokes.
