BREAST CANCER MONTH: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and KACH is offering a breast self-exam instructional class Thurs. and Oct. 31, 11 a.m. to noon and Oct. 15 and 22, 1 to 2 p.m.

Classes will be held in the MSU Conference room located on the 4th floor. For more information, contact Lauren Incontrera at 938-8282. Registration is not necessary.

Please stop by the breast cancer information table in the KACH lobby for valuable information pamphlets, shower cards and screening information. Pink ribbons are available for recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness.

The American College of Radiology and the American Cancer Society recommends yearly mammograms for all women beginning at age 40. KACH beneficiaries should call 938-4840/4849 to schedule mammograms.

GOOD NEWS: The Fall 2002 issue of Primary Care News is available in all outpatient clinics and waiting areas of KACH. Please pick up your copy of this valuable newsletter.

KACH CLOSED: Keller Army Community Hospital will be closed Oct. 11 and 12.

All outpatient clinics including Pharmacy, Pathology and Radiology will be closed. The Emergency Room remains open
