Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center grand opening
Saturday marked the opening of the new 495,100 square-foot Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center, which will promote the physical advancement of the 4,100 cadets at the U.S. Military Academy.

Former academy, USCC Command Sgt. Maj. passes
Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Mary Sutherland, who served here from 1997-2004, died Sunday after a long battle with cancer.  

West Point's own bomb sniffing dogs help keep academy safe
In the aftermath of 9/11, the nation's minds turned to developing the best way to ensure our safety. And man's best friend is assisting in this effort.

Ross heading to Iraq, joined Army after 9/11 
Lt. Col. Eugene Ross has been stationed at West Point since May 2003 and will soon be deployed to Iraq. Ross, in his early 50s, chose to join the military shortly after 9/11.

Colpo returns to USMA for third time --  now as Chief of Staff
Col. Michael Colpo, a USMA graduate of the Class of 1978, recently took over the academy's chief of staff position.
