| And here he is...the first baby of 2001 born at the U.S. Military Academy. Cate Phillips and her husband, Maj. Donovan Phillips, a professor in the Mathematics Department here, are the proud parents of a baby boy born January 4, 2001 at 4:02 a.m. Elijah weighed 8-pounds, 1-ounce at birth and is the Phillips’ fourth child and only boy.
