"Flat Stanley," is based on a bedtime story told by author Jeff Brown to his sons and has turned into an international project for elementary school children.
A three dimensional version of "Flat Stanley," who, by the way, became flat when a bulletin board fell on him, has been traveling the world by envelope. Sharon Forrest of Centennial Contractor Ent., Inc., the general contractor for job order contracts at West Point, received the flat little man from her grandaughter Alison Price. Alison attends school at Sutro Elementary School in Dayton, NV.
Stanley visited Trophy Point, Central Area and several other locations while at West Point. He was also fortunate enough to run into some friendly cadets who were more than glad to pose with "his flatness" for a souvenior photo.
