NCEA Travel Information
Student Delegates will beare provided free room and board in the cadet barracks during the conference but students are responsible for travel costs and coordination. Faculty Delegates are responsible for both travel and lodging for the NCEA Conference. The links above will provide you with helpful information concerning your travel to and from West Point and your time here at West Point for the conference. We recommend that you book your flight and hotel using the venders we provide on the above links because you will then be provided with FREE shuttle service and other gratis services that we cannot provide if you decide to book your travel itinerary with any other service providers in our area.
Please be advised that October 14th and October 18th are TRAVEL DAYS with the NCEA beginning on the morning of October 15th and ending the evening of October 17th.
When booking your flight, keep in mind our free shuttle service will begin picking up delegates at 10am and stop at 6pm on October 14th and free shuttle service back to the airports will begin the morning of October 18th and be available for departure from West Point at 4am, 6am, 8am and 10am to Newark and Stewart Airport ONLY. Please book your return flight with that in mind and be aware that most airports require check-in at least two hours before departure from the airport. If you book your flight into LaGuardia, Kennedy Airport, or any other arrival location, you will need to provide your own transportation to and from West Point.
If using train to travel to NCEA: Take train to Penn station and wait for a connection to Croton Harmon.
Once at Croton Harmon, go up stairs and purchase a ticket on Metro North.
Take Metro North to Garrison Station (3 stops Up).
Take a taxi from Garrison Train Station to Cullum Hall on West Point, NY.
Or
Take train to Penn station, get off and take train to 42nd station and catch the S- Shuttle to Grand Central Terminal and catch the Metro North to the Garrison Station, and them call a taxi to transport you from Garrison to Cullum Hall on West Point, NY.
A taxi service that is allowed on West Point is "All Points Limo and Taxi Service", 845-294-7886.
We do not offer shuttle pickup from the the train station, sorry for any inconvenience.
