What Courses Fulfill the International Relations Major?
*(Class of 2016, 2017, and 2018 only)
 
Core Classes: You will take the following “toolbox” courses:
Thesis Option:  Highly qualified cadets may choose to complete a thesis during your firstie year.  The Senior Thesis class consists of a fall and spring semester course sequence that culminates in a thesis defense and a final written product that generally ranges from 30-50 pages in length.
International Relations Electives: You will choose two International Relations electives, one of which must be a 400-level course. (Note that only two electives total from the International Relations, Comparative Politics, and American Politics electives may be taken outside of the Social Sciences Department.)
Comparative Politics Elective:  You will choose one Comparative Politics elective. (Note that only two electives total from the International Relations, Comparative Politics, and American Politics electives may be taken outside of the Social Sciences Department.)
American Politics Elective:  You will choose one American Politics elective.
Political Science Elective:  You will choose one Political Science elective.
Additional Courses:  You will choose one Information Technology course and one additional semester of a foreign language.
