Major Paul F. Tanghe is an instructor of international relations and comparative politics. His research interests include environmental governance, wildlife trafficking, and endangered species protection. A cavalry officer, Paul has led reconnaissance and tank units in Afghanistan, Iraq and Korea. Originally from Edina, Minnesota, Paul graduated from West Point in 2004 with a B.S. in political science and University of Denver in 2014 with an M.A. in international studies. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in international studies at the University of Denver, and in his free time, enjoys conservation, firefighting, exploration, transportation, and design.
